Tillandsia ‘Upper Class’ crosses rothii and xerographica. It has a wonderful shape, and it’s genuinely easy to grow.
The plants we’re offering are large, mature specimens, running 10-12 inches wide. That puts them well past the beginner-size stage most hybrids ship at.
Xerographica contributes its famous curling, silver-scaled foliage, and rothii adds its own twist to the rosette shape. Together they read as a distinctive, sculptural plant.
Because we have a very limited supply, we can’t offer this cross the way we do our higher-volume hybrids; each specimen is close to one of a kind.
A large, easy-to-grow named hybrid like this makes a strong centerpiece plant for a shop that wants something more distinctive than the standard xerographica alone.
