Tillandsia Mali Dofitas is the offspring of two familiar species: the tentacle-like caput-medusae and the classic bulbosa. Crossing the two produces a plant with a robust, bulbous base and dramatic, twisting, channeled foliage.

The form is genuinely sculptural, with a spidery, upright rosette that can reach up to 57 centimeters tall.
