Description
Vriesea espinosae recently renamed Tillandsia espinosae. This plant pups off running stolons as can be seen by the photo. Each bloom cycle typically produces 4 pups to quickly form a beautiful symmetrical clump. These are fresh cut pups that have more of an upright shape at the moment. After a few months of growing they will begin to open and be more wide than tall.
♦ Photos of clumps are shown as examples of how this spectacular plant will look like as it matures.
