The ionantha hand grenade is a highly sought after form of ionantha. It comes from southern Mexico. Its stout, densely packed rosette gives it the blocky look that earned the name.
The plants we’re currently offering are XXL grade. They run 6-7 inches tall, noticeably larger than what’s typically pictured for this form.
Like other southern Mexico ionantha forms, it holds a dense coat of silver trichomes. It also blushes red as it approaches bloom.
Ionantha collectors specifically seek out this form. So it tends to sell to buyers who already know several other ionantha types and want the more unusual, blocky shape.
