About the victoriana T.I. Clone
This victoriana T.I. Clone crosses Tillandsia brachycaulos with Tillandsia ionantha. It was originally acquired from Tillandsia International under the name Victoriana, before that grower closed. We carry it alongside our standard victoriana listing because a named clone with documented provenance is worth keeping separate from an unnamed cross of the same parentage.
It’s a fast grower and a fast clumper, building a multi-rosette mat well ahead of slower hybrids in the same size class. So it works as a practical volume plant as well as a collector’s pick.
The real draw is the bloom: hot pink, bright enough to stop a shopper mid-aisle. Our current stock is not in blush, so buyers are purchasing foliage now with that bloom still ahead of them.
It ships in three grades. Small runs 3-4 inches, Medium 4-5 inches, and Large 5 inches and up with a noticeably fuller form, so a shop can stock an entry point and a showpiece from the same clone.

Growing the victoriana T.I. Clone: Care Guide
Brachycaulos holds water in a loose cup, but that trait doesn’t carry through a tank-x-non-tank cross. So treat this clone as mesic, not tank. Soak it 7-10 days, then invert it fully; never leave standing water at its base.
- Water: Soak 7-10 days, then invert and shake dry. Not a tank plant.
- Light: Bright, indirect light brings out the pink at bloom.

- Clumping: Let pups stay attached to build a mat, or divide once established.
