About Pruinosa Colombia Clumps
Pruinosa carries a frosted, bulbous form that collectors recognize immediately. This Colombian variety keeps that same trademark look, but it sells as an established clump rather than a single plant. Wire secures each clump, and silvery trichomes coat the leaves. A mother plant plus three or more pups make up each clump, depending on the batch. Because we have grown this particular stock for two years, the clumps arrive mature and well established rather than freshly assembled.
Since these are grown-on natural clumps rather than uniform assembled pieces, buyers should expect some variation from clump to clump. For example, some will carry more offsets than others, while some show natural dried edges or a spent mother rosette. That variability is normal for a clump grown over two years and does not affect the health of the pups.
