About Tillandsia White Star
Tillandsia White Star is our own ixioides x recurvifolia cross, made here at Davis Farms in 2019. We’re only now releasing plants and clumps from that original cross as they mature enough to sell.
Several growers work with White Star hybrids, but our clone stands out for a longer inflorescence than the other White Star clones we’ve seen in the trade. The silver, thin-leaved foliage traces back to ixioides, while recurvifolia contributes the fuller rosette shape and the orange-bracted bloom.
Stock ships as both individual plants and small clumps, so buyers can pick single specimens or a fuller display piece from the same release.

Growing Tillandsia White Star: Care Guide
