Meet Tillandsia Vulcan’s Throne, a striking hybrid born from the marriage of two Tillandsia legends: the bold, silvery bulb of Tillandsia seleriana crossed with the wild, serpentine tendrils of Tillandsia caput-medusae. The result is a plant with real drama—a plump, fuzzy, trichome-frosted base that erupts into long, twisting leaves reaching skyward like flames, blushing deep crimson and burgundy as it prepares to bloom.
We started these from seed back in 2018, patiently raising them year after year in our greenhouse. After more than half a decade of care, these seed-grown beauties have finally matured into the showstoppers you see today. Each one is truly one of a kind, hand-pollinated and hand-raised on our farm.
